Job Title: Sales Support Specialist
Reporting to: Inside Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist will perform various routine duties to support the sales department. Position also available for commission after demonstrated proficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs data entry tasks such as sales order entry, freight rates, customer profiles or updates and product specifications.
- Produces sales department reports such as monthly shipping reports and ship sheets
- Coordinates with shipping to ensure sales orders are shipped.
- Coordinates with the production department to get updates on existing and new orders.
- Assists in year- end customer appreciation events.
- Maintains promotional database.
- Assists sales manager in resolving order and inventory issues.
- Assists in providing product, promotion and information based on customer requests.
- Processes and arranges shipment of samples and promotional items.
- Assists with sales calls as well as incoming phone and email traffic.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years Sales/clerical/ administrative experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
